Mural Unveilings: JULY 30TH

After months of work, we’re nearing completion on the murals for Four Coats. To celebrate we’re hosting an unveiling JULY 30TH from 6-9PM. Come by each of the 4 walls to meet the artists and view their new works.

Not too long from now, Atlantans will have four new murals to appreciate as they trek through various corners of Atlanta’s urban landscape. Four Coats Neighborhood Mural Project, the brainchild of Beep Beep gallery’s James McConnell, has pulled together four Atlanta galleries to curate a collection of public murals.

Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs has their hands on some great public arts projects lately. Just after announcing the ambitious Elevate: Art Above Underground project coming this fall, they’ve also officially announced the beginning of annual mural project, Four Coats.

Sunday Southern Art Revival

The Sunday Southern Art Revival has begun work on their mural, a vinly installation located on Nelson Street in the Castleberry Hills Art District.  You will see the large scale piece covering the window front.
